Connect it
- 1In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the channel that should receive the briefing.
- 2Press Connect on Slack in Seiton and paste the webhook URL.
- 3Seiton posts a real test message before saving. If Slack rejects it, the channel is not saved.
Worth knowing
- Output only. Slack is never read and never feeds a health dimension.
Disconnecting
Disconnect from the Integrations page. Seiton deletes the stored credentials, removes any webhook endpoint it created in your account, and strips the fields this provider owned out of your snapshots — those metrics go back to insufficient data rather than freezing at their last value.
Revoking the token or OAuth grant inside Slack works just as well and stops reads immediately. The connection then shows as revoked on the next sync, with the reason.
